Isabelle is a teenage girl that is barely aware of whats going on around her let alone what's going on inside her. Her father has passed away two years ago and she's been trying to deal with the feelings of how to cope as well as how be a typical teenage girl. How she learns to cope is one that most girls her age deal with feelings, binging and purging. That is until her little sister April finds her out and tells their mother.

Isabelle is forced by her mother to join a group with other girls her age to deal with her problem. It is at group where she is thrown into a friendship with a girl she has admired forever. After becoming friends Isabelle soon realizes that she isn't alone in feeling lonely, sad, or hurt from time to time.

I wasn't overly impressed with this book. I think that she might be a good book for a young girl that is going through a similar situation. I know from experience that its just nice to have someone to talk to when you need it. If its not an actual person its a book with a subject matter that matters to them or someone who is going through a similar situation. I'm also not sure if I would want to read a book by this author again.
